Passive Infrared Wall Switch Occupancy Sensors

The Passive Infrared (PIR) sensors occupancy by detecting the difference between heat emitted from the human body in motion and the background space.  The PIR sensors respond to change in the infrared background by turning lights ON when people enter a space being monitored, and OFF when the space is unoccupied.  These sensors utilize a unique Fresnel lense which divides the coverage area into zones, enhancing detection of small movement.  (Basically the lights come on unless you turn them off or will shut off automatically based on timer setting
